How do you remove hard water spots from windows near the beach?
Salt spray and hard water can leave white spots on glass near Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key that regular washing won't remove. Can those spots be taken off, and how?

Usually, yes. On Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach, salt spray and hard water leave mineral spots that regular washing won't move. We use a special treatment to break those down and restore the glass. The stage of the spotting decides the fix. Fresh mineral spotting, a few weeks to a few months old, sits on top of the glass and comes off with professional cleaning plus a mild descaler. Older spotting is the hard part: minerals and salt bond into the glass surface, and on Pensacola Beach the salt speeds everything up. That's stage-two hard water damage, and no amount of scrubbing will move it. Please skip the vinegar-and-razor-blade advice online; we've seen scratched panes from it. Our restoration process uses professional-grade mineral removers and polishing to break that bond and bring the glass back to clear. It works on all but truly etched panes, where the minerals have pitted the surface.
