A little more on the Cantonment specifics: mill fallout plus pine pollen is a uniquely sticky combination — the particulate is fine enough to bond with dew into a film that regular hose rinsing just smears around. Two things matter for it: a purified-water rinse so the film releases fully and nothing re-deposits as the glass dries, and enough frequency that the layer never builds to the point where it starts dulling the pane between cleanings. Homes closer to the plant or under heavy pine cover usually do best on a quarterly rhythm — which also happens to cost $100 less per visit than one-time pricing on our plan.
